Homemade and Easy Enchilada Sauce

• 3 Tablespoons Vegetable Oilvegetable-oil
• 1 Tablespoon Flourflour
• ¼ cups Chili Powderchili-powder
• 1 cup Chicken Brothchicken-broth
• 1 can (15 Oz.) Tomato Saucetomato-sauce
• 1 teaspoon Oreganooregano
• 1 teaspoon Cumincumin
• ½ teaspoons Kosher Saltsalt

1. 01Heat oil over low-to-medium heat in a medium-size sauce pan. Add flour, stir, and cook for about 1 minute. Add chili powder and stir to combine. Add 1 cup of chicken broth (you may want to add another 1/2 cup later if you want a thinner sauce consistency), the tomato sauce, and spices. Stir to combine and reduce heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes. The sauce will thicken (which is how I like it, but you can add additional broth to get the consistency of the sauce in a can). This makes about 3 cups of deliciousness.
