1 lb bulk hot Italian sausagesausage
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can Italian stewed tomatoesstewed-tomatoes
1 (8 ounce) can tomato saucetomato-sauce
1 cup frozen Italian vegetables
3/4 cup green peppers or 3/4 cup sweet red pepperpepper
1/4 cup chopped oniononion
1/4 cup chicken brothchicken-broth
1 teaspoon brown sugarbrown-sugar
1 teaspoon minced fresh parsleyparsley
1/2 teaspoon italian seasoningitalian-seasoning
1/8 teaspoon saltsalt
1/8 teaspoon pepperpepper

Instructions (6 steps)

01In a skillet, cook sausage over medium heat.
02In a saucepan, combine the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
03Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender.

Drain sausage and add to soup.
