This is a great strawberry sauce. I'll make this to serve over cheesecakes, ice cream, even biscuits. This is a must have recipe. Quick and tastes devine.

1 pint strawberry, cleaned and stemmedstrawberry
1/3 cup white sugarsugar
1 teaspoon vanillavanilla

Instructions (6 steps)

01Cut about 1/3 of the strawberries in half.
02In a saucepan over medium high heat, combine strawberries, sugar and vanilla.
03Cook, stirring occasionally, until sauce thickens, about 5 minutes.
04Remove from heat.
05In a blender, puree about 1/3 of sauce, then mix back into remainder.
06Store in refrigerator.
