This is really good to put in Christmas Gift Bags. Almond slivers can be added at the end if desired. Be careful when spreading the chocolate as the sugar mixture is skin removing hot.

1 cup butterbutter
1 cup white sugarsugar
1 (3 1/2 ounce) package slivered almondsslivered-almonds
1 tablespoon white corn syrupcorn-syrup
1 tablespoon waterwater
7 Hershey Bars

Instructions (5 steps)

01Cook all ingredients except chocolate bars over high heat in heavy pan.
02Stir constantly until amber or brown, DO NOT BURN.
03Pour into buttered 9 X 13 inch pan.
04While still hot place 7 Hershey bars on top, spread after melted.
05Cool and crack.
