I worried a bit about these as I've never heard of an eggnog cookie. Happened across his recipe in an old cookbook. They are a very moist cookie. My family loved them!

2 1/4 cups flourflour
1 teaspoon baking powderbaking-powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamoncinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmegnutmeg
1 1/4 cups white sugarsugar
3/4 cup butter, softenedbutter
1/2 cup eggnogeggnog
1 teaspoon vanillavanilla
2 large egg yolksegg

Instructions (7 steps)

01Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
02In a bowl, combine all dry ingredients together.
03In a large bowl, cream together the sugar and butter until it resembles a grainy paste.
04Add eggnog, vanilla and egg yolks and beat at medium speed until smooth.
05Add the flour mixture and beat at low speed until blended. Do not overmix.
