Blueberry Waffles

These are my 2 blueberry lovin' guys most favorite waffle. They will even eat them with blueberry syrup! I always double this and if there are any left they go in the freezer. DBF Rick will eat these like a cookie and likes them hot and crispy with a scoop of ice cream on top!

1 cup blueberriesblueberry
3 teaspoons baking powderbaking-powder
2 eggs, separatedegg
1 tablespoon sugarsugar
2 cups sifted flourflour
1 1/2 cups milkmilk
1/2 teaspoon saltsalt
1/4 cup melted butterbutter

Instructions (7 steps)

01Preheat the waffle iron.
02Beat egg whites til stiff and set aside.
03Sift together dry ingredients.
04Slowly stir in milk, beaten egg yolks and melted butter.
05Fold in blueberries.
06Fold in egg whites which were stiffly beaten.
