No need to make a whole pie when you can enjoy these single sized servings of the classic Thanksgiving dessert. Rich with maple syrup, pecans and brown sugar, these just might be ... the death of my skinny jeans.
Remove the hot crust from the oven and set aside. For the pecan topping, in a small saucepot, melt the butter. Add the brown sugar, vanilla, maple syrup and cream and whisk well. Simmer for one minute while whisking continuously. Add the pecans and pour into the hot crust.
05Bake for 18-20 minutes. When done, remove from the oven and let cool for half an hour. This gives the bars a chance to harden.
