2 tablespoons milkmilk
6 -12 thick slices bread (French or Italian ,1-inch thick, day-old bread is better)
powdered sugar, for dustingsugar

Instructions (3 steps)

01Beat the eggs, milk and cinnamon together.
02Dip both sides of the slices of bread in the egg mixture and fry in a heavy skillet over moderate heat until browned on both sides.
