1 cup packed brown sugarbrown-sugar
2 eggsegg
1 teaspoon vanilla extractvanilla-extract
1 1/4 cups flourflour
1 teaspoon baking powderbaking-powder

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chipschocolate-chips
1/2 cup chopped pecanspecan

Instructions (4 steps)

01In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and brown sugar. Add the eggs, one at at time. Beat in vanilla.
02Combine the flour, baking powder and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture. Stir in the chocolate chips and pecans.
03Spread into a greased 11-inch by 7-inch by 2-inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 25-30 minutes or until toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
04Cool on a wire rack.
