01Collect fresh basil leaves from the garden or purchase at your farmer's market or grocer. 
02Blanch leaves in boiling water for 30 seconds.
03Chill leaves in ice water after removing from the boiling water. 
04Pat dry using paper towels. 
05Place basil leaves in blender with olive oil. (a food processor works as well)
06Whirl in the blender on "pulse" setting until leaves are minced. 
07Serve with bread as a dipping oil. You may want to sprinkle with salt to taste.
