3 ripe creole tomatoes (sliced 1/4" thick)
1 small vidalia onion or a sweet onion (thinly sliced)
1/4 teaspoon saltsalt
4 sprigs fresh tyme or lemon tyme
3 tablespoons red wine vinaigrettered-wine-vinaigrette

Instructions (3 steps)

01Prepare the salad dressing:: Click on the red wine vinaigrette link and prepare the salad dressing. Refrigerate for up to a week.
02Make the Creole tomato salad:: Arrange the tomato slices on a platter. Separate the thin onion slices over the tomatoes and lightly sprinkle with salt.
03Remove some of the thyme leaves from the sprigs and sprinkle over the salad. Drizzle it with the red wine vinaigrette and serve at room temperature.
