Maple Old-Fashioned

• 1 ounce dark amber syrup
• Several dashes Angostura bitters
• 2 orange wedgesorange
• 2 lemon wedgeslemon
• 2 ounces bourbonbourbon
• Sparkling waterwater
• Stemmed maraschino cherrycherry

1. 01Pour the maple syrup into an old-fashioned glass. Saturate with bitters, then squeeze in juice from 1 orange wedge and 1 lemon wedge.
2. 02Add remaining wedges, press with a pestle, add bourbon and stir well. Add ice cubes, fill with sparkling water and stir again. Pour, and garnish with a cherry.
