Ingredients (9)

avocado oil sprayavocado
4 tilapia fillets (about 4 ounces each)tilapia
10 ounces asparagus spears (trimmed, thin stalks work best)
4 tablespoons unsalted butterbutter
2 cloves garlic (finely minced)garlic
1/2 lemon (juiced)lemon
2 tablespoons minced fresh parsleyparsley
1/2 teaspoon kosher saltsalt
freshly ground black pepper (to taste)

Instructions (4 steps)

01Preheat your oven 400°F (OR 200°C).Place a piece of parchment paper (or aluminum foil) into a large rimmed baking sheet. Spray with avocado oil and arrange the tilapia filets, pat them dry with paper towel. Next, arrange the asparagus on both sides of the asparagus.
02Melt butter in a small saucepan. Once melted, remove and add in garlic, parsley, lemon juice, kosher salt and lots of freshly ground black pepper. Stir to combine.
03Spoon the garlic lemon butter over top of the tilapia and asparagus. Use a brush to spread the butter mixture to evenly cover the fish and asparagus.
