01Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Line baking sheet with silicone mat or parchment paper. Set aside.
02In mixer add flour and butter. Using the blade attachment, mix until butter and flour are crumbled together.
03Slowly add in ice water until ball of dough forms.
04Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 15 minutes.

In the meantime dice apples and add to a small bowl.

06Mix in brown sugar and cinnamon, set aside.

07When dough has chilled, roll out onto floured surface into a thin round circle.

08Using a large round cookie cutter make 6 circles.

09Place on baking sheet.

10Add a tablespoon of apples to the center of each circle.

11Fold dough over from one side to another. Press edges with a fork.

12In small bowl whisk together egg and water.

13Brush egg wash on the tops of each turnover.

14Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.

15Drizzle with icing.
