1/2 lb hot Italian sausagehot-italian-sausage
1 small onion, dicedonion
14 ounces chicken brothchicken-broth
15 ounces Italian-style diced tomatoestomato
15 ounces cannellini beans, drainedcannellini-beans
1/2 teaspoon oreganooregano
saltsalt
crushed red pepper flakes, to taste (I use a lot)red-pepper-flakes
1 teaspoon garlic, crushedgarlic

Instructions (4 steps)

01Saute sausage, onion, and garlic in large pot. Drain fat.
02Add remaining ingredients and heat through.
03Sometimes I add a very small amount of tiny uncooked pasta to thicken.
04Serve with toasty crunchy french bread to get every last drop.
