Pour cocoa mixture, when cooled, over flour and sugar; and beat until smooth.
05Combine buttermilk, eggs, soda, cinnamon and vanilla; then beat into above mixture.06Grease and flour a 13x9 inch pan; bake at 400 degrees for 35-40 minutes.07Frosting: Start 10 minutes before baking is done.08Combine frosting ingredients except for confectioner's sugar in a bowl, mix.09Add confectioner's sugar; stir well, then beat until thick.10Spoon frosting over hot cake.11Top with nuts if desired.
