Ingredients (6)

1/4 cup brown sugar, packedbrown-sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamoncinnamon
3/4 teaspoon cayenne pepperpepper
1 egg whiteegg
3 1/2 cups mixed nuts (I use deluxe mixed nuts with no peanuts)
1/2 cup dried cranberriescranberry

Instructions (5 steps)

01Preheat oven to 300°F and prepare baking sheet. I like to line a jelly roll pan with parchment paper, but you can grease your pan if you like.
02Combine brown sugar, cinnamon and cayenne, set aside.
03In a bowl large enough to accommodate nuts, whisk the egg white; add nuts, cranberries, sprinkle with sugar mixture and toss to coat. Spread onto prepared baking sheet.
04Bake for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown, stirring once. Cool completely.
05Store in an airtight container up to a week.
