2 cups flour, siftedflour
1 cup sugarsugar
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powderbaking-powder
1 teaspoon saltsalt
1/2 teaspoon baking sodabaking-soda
1/4 cup butterbutter
1 egg, beatenegg
1 teaspoon orange rind, gratedorange
3/4 cup orange juiceorange-juice
1 1/2 cups raisins, we don't use raisins (optional)raisins
2 cups fresh cranberries, coarsely choppedcranberry

Instructions (7 steps)

01Sift flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, baking soda together.
02Cut in 1/4 cup butter until mixture is crumbly.
03Add egg, orange peel, and orange juice and mix until mixture is evenly moist.
04Fold in raisins and cranberries.
