01Into a large bowl, measure cereal; set aside.
02In a 1-quart microwavable bowl, microwave chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter uncovered on “High” for 1 minute; stir. Microwave for about 30 seconds longer or until mixture can be stirred smooth. Stir in vanilla (optional). Pour mixture over the cereal, stirring until evenly coated. Pour into a 2-gallon resealable food-storage plastic bag.
03Add powdered sugar. Seal bag; shake until well-coated. Spread on waxed paper to cool. Store in an airtight container or bag in the refrigerator.
04Please note that this recipe is for humans to enjoy only! Any form of chocolate is no good for pups. So buy them a fun little doggy treat to enjoy while you “chow” on this.
