01On medium-high heat, brown sausage; drain and set aside. On medium-high again, brown bacon; drain and set aside.
02Place water, broth, potatoes, garlic, onion in pot and simmer until potatoes are tender.
03Add cooked sausage and bacon, simmer 10 minutes. Add kale and cream, season with salt and pepper, and heat through.
04Low carb version: substitute cauliflower for potatoes. It has the same taste!
