1 lb green beans, trimmedgreen-beans
1/2 cup boiling waterwater
1/2 teaspoon saltsalt
2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarinemargarine
2 garlic cloves, pressedgarlic
1/8 teaspoon lemon pepperpepper
2 tablespoons parsley, fresh, choppedparsley

Instructions (2 steps)

01Place first 3 ingredients in a Dutch oven; cover and cook over medium heat for 30 minutes. Drain.
02Melt butter in a Dutch Oven; add garlic and lemon pepper, and saute mixture over medium heat 1 to 2 minutes. Add green beans, and saute 5 minutes. Sprinkle with chopped parsley.
