1 (16 ounce) package bow tie pastabow-tie-pasta
1 lb thick cut baconbacon
2 tablespoons olive oilolive-oil
3 cloves garlic, mincedgarlic
1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawedspinach
1/2 cup dry white winewhite-wine
1/3 cup grated parmesan cheeseparmesan

Instructions (11 steps)

01Cook pasta according to package directions.
02Drain, reserving 1/2 cup cooking water.
03In a large skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until crisp.
04Remove and drain on paper towels.
05Drain drippings but do not clean pan.
06In same pan over medium heat, heat olive oil 1 minute.

07Increase heat to medium-high and add spinach, wine and reserved cooking water.

08Cook and stir until heated through.

09Toss pasta and cheese with sauce.

10Season with pepper to taste.

11Crumble bacon over pasta.
