4 cups cooked kidney beanskidney-beans
1 oniononion
1 garlicgarlic
1/2 teaspoon cumincumin
1 dash cinnamoncinnamon
1 lime, juice oflime
3 tablespoons tomato pastetomato-paste
1 cup waterwater
1 tablespoon oiloil
1 small chili pepperpepper
saltsalt
pepperpepper

Instructions (6 steps)

01Saute the chopped onion in oil. Add the garlic, cumin and cinnamon.
02Add the lime juice, then the tomato paste and the water.
03Simmer for 5 minutes.
04Add the beans and the chili pepper and simmer for another10 minutes.
05It's done when it's quite dry,.

06Serve stuffed into pita bread.
