1 1/4 lbs ground turkeyground-turkey
1 yellow onion, choppedonion
3 garlic cloves, mincedgarlic
1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoestomato
1 (6 ounce) can tomato pastetomato-paste
1 cup chicken brothchicken-broth
1 tablespoon dried oreganooregano
1 tablespoon dried basilbasil
1 teaspoon dried thymethyme
1 teaspoon sea saltsalt
1/2 teaspoon cracked black pepperpepper
1 tablespoon butterbutter

Instructions (6 steps)

01In a 4 1/2 quart pot/pan brown the ground turkey over medium heat.
02Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened.
03Add tomato paste and crushed tomatoes, stirring until all is combined.
04Add chicken broth to thin it down a little bit.

05Add spices, butter, and salt and pepper and allow to simmer over low heat for about 15 minutes (just long enough to boil the water and cook the pasta!).

06Taste and adjust seasonings to preference.
