Pasta With Scallops

• 2 teaspoons vegetable oilvegetable-oil
• 1/4 cup finely chopped shallotshallot
• 1 teaspoon finely chopped garlicgarlic
• 16 sea scallopsscallop
• 1 1/2 cups chopped tomatoestomato
• 1 cup tomato saucetomato-sauce
• 1/2 teaspoon saltsalt
• 1/4 teaspoon pepperpepper
• 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakesred-pepper-flakes
• 1 teaspoon italian seasoningitalian-seasoning
• cooked pasta (of your choice, I like angel hair)

1. 01Heat oil in large skillet.
2. 02Add shallots and garlic, saute 1 minute.
3. 03Add scallops, saute for 2 minutes each side.
4. 04Remove and keep warm.
5. 05To skillet, add chopped tomato, tomato sauce,and seasonings.
