01Preheat the oven to 200 °F (95 °C). Place parchment paper on the baking tray.
02Slice apples into thin circles with a mandolin slicer or a sharp knife.
03Remove the cores. Gently rub the cut apples with lemon juice so that they do not turn black.
04Place the apple slices in a single layer on the baking sheet.
05Optionally, sprinkle cinnamon on top of the apple slices.
06Bake the apple slices in the oven for 1-1.5 hours, until they are dry and crispy. Flip them once halfway through baking.
07Remove the apple chips from the oven. Transfer to a cooling rack and chill for about 10 minutes before serving.
