1 cup seasoned bread crumbsseasoned-bread-crumbs
1/4 cup of chopped oniononion
1/2-1 teaspoon saltsalt
1/2 teaspoon pepperpepper
1 -1 1/2 lb lean ground beef
1 cup shredded monterey jack pepper cheese or 1 cup monterey jack cheese, divided

Instructions (9 steps)

01Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
02In large bowl combine the egg, bread crumbs, onion, salt and pepper.
03Crumble beef over mixture and mix well.
04In a 8x4-inch greased pan press half of the beef mixture onto the bottom and halfway up the sides.
05Sprinkle 3/4 of a cup of cheese over meat within 1/2 in of sides.
