This is a wonderful tasty dish for those rainy days ahead. It has a mellow flavor and the meat is succulent but for some it may need a bit of hot sauce (I added 2 tbsp to the sauce).

1 large onion, peeled, sliced and separated into ringsonion
3 -4 lbs country-style pork ribs
1 cup tomato juicetomato-juice
1 cup vegetable cocktail (or instead of Tomato juice and the vegetable cocktail use 2 cups extra spicy Clamato Juice)
2 tablespoons molassesmolasses
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauceworcestershire
3 tablespoons balsamic vinegarbalsamic-vinegar
1 teaspoon Dijon mustarddijon-mustard
1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoningpoultry-seasoning
salt and peppersalt-and-pepper
1 1/2 teaspoons cornstarchcornstarch
4 tablespoons waterwater

Instructions (8 steps)

01Place onion rings in the bottom of your crock pot.
02Place ribs on top (trim off any excess fat).
03Whisk together the remaining ingredients except the corn starch.
