Ingredients (7)

4 1/2 cups sugarsugar
1 (14 ounce) can evaporated milkevaporated-milk
1 cup butter, softenedbutter
1 (7 ounce) jar marshmallow creamcream
3 (12 ounce) bags semi-sweet chocolate chipschocolate-chips
2 teaspoons vanillavanilla
2 cups coarsely chopped nutschopped-nuts

Instructions (12 steps)

01In a large saucepan, mix sugar with evaporated milk.
02Stir well to dissolve sugar.
03Bring to a rolling boil for 7 to 8 minutes.
04In a large bowl, cream butter and marshmallow cream until fluffy.
05Stir in chocolate chips.
06Pour hot mixture over chocolate mixture.

When chocolate is melted, add vanilla and nuts.

08Blend well.

09Pour into a buttered 9 x 13 pan.

10Chill.

11Cut into squares before becoming firm.
