48 graham crackers, halvesgraham-cracker
3/4 cup butter (do not use low-calorie spreads) or 3/4 cup margarine (do not use low-calorie spreads)butter
1 cup brown sugar, firmly packedbrown-sugar
3/4 cup chopped nutschopped-nuts

Instructions (9 steps)

01Carefully break graham crackers into 'fingers'.
02Line a large cookie sheet with sides or jelly roll pan with foil and lightly spray with cooking spray.
03Arrange crackers side-by-side on sheet in rows with edges touching.
04Place butter and sugar in a saucepan and boil about 2 minutes, or until thick and bubbly.
05Pour this syrup over crackers, spreading evenly to completely cover.
06Sprinkle finely chopped nuts over top.
