A great loaf to make, I have made this recipe alot, and have used raisins, raspberries ( it's really good with the raspberries) and it sure make's your kitchen smell nice.

Ingredients (9)

1 orangeorange
2 cups all-purpose flourflour
1 cup granulated sugarsugar
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powderbaking-powder
1/2 teaspoon baking sodabaking-soda
1/2 teaspoon saltsalt
1 cup chopped cranberries (fresh or frozen)cranberry
1 egg, beatenegg
1/4 cup butter, meltedbutter

Instructions (8 steps)

01Grate rind from orange, squeeze juice into liquid measure, add enough water to make 3/4 cup.
02Set aside.
03In large bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt and orange rind; stir in cranberries.
04In small bowl, whisk together egg, butter and orange juice; stir into flour mixture just until blended.
05Spread in greased 9x5 Loaf pan.
