1 1/2 lbs ground beefground-beef
2 tablespoons warm waterwater
1 eggegg
1 onion, mincedonion
1/3 cup panko breadcrumbsbreadcrumbs
1 tablespoon onion powderonion-powder
1 teaspoon saltsalt
1 teaspoon pepperpepper
12 hawaiian rollshawaiian-rolls
2 kosher pickles, sliced thinlypickle
6 slices American cheeseamerican-cheese

Instructions (6 steps)

01Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
02Mix all ingredients except buns, pickles, and cheese.
03Put mixture in an ungreased 10x13 pan and spread evenly edge to edge.
04Prick with a fork several times throughout.
05Bake 10-12 minutes until juices are clear then pour off the grease.

06Cut immediately into square patties the size of the buns and add desired toppings.
