Caramel Pecan Apple Pie

In a small bowl, mix together the granulated sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
05Sprinkle over the apple slices.06Sprinkle with water and dot apple slices with additional butter.07Place top crust over apples and flute edges.08Bake at 425° for 15 minutes.09Reduce heat to 350° and bake for an additional 35-40 minutes.10If fluted edges start to get too dark, cover with foil.
