Vanilla Cardamom French Toast

• 1 teaspoon Oil, For The Griddle (Try Coconut Oil)oil
• 4 whole Eggsegg
• 2 Tablespoons Whole Milkmilk
• 2 teaspoons Real Vanilla Extractvanilla-extract
• ½ teaspoons Ground Cardamom
• 8 slices Breadbread
• Butter, For Servingbutter
• Maple Syrup For Serving

1. 01Preheat a lightly oiled griddle to 375ºF. Lightly beat eggs with whole milk. Add vanilla and ground cardamom, whisk until combined. Dip both sides of bread into the egg mixture and place on the hot griddle. Repeat with the remaining bread, whisking the egg mixture every so often to redistribute the cardamom. Flip when golden and serve with butter and real maple syrup.
