Add the flour mixture into the butter mixture and beat on a low speed until combined and a soft dough forms.
05Drop the dough by heaping tablespoonfuls onto the prepared baking sheets at least 2 inches apart. Flatten the balls slightly. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are golden. Let the cookies cool completely.
06In a large bowl beat the remaining ½ cup butter with the cream cheese on medium speed until creamy. Add in the remaining teaspoon of vanilla extract and the milk until combined. Slowly add in the powdered sugar until incorporated. Once incorporated, turn the mixer to high speed and beat for 2 minutes until the frosting is light and fluffy.
07Spread the frosting on the cooled cookies and top with sprinkles as desired.
