1 cup flourflour
3/4 cup cornmealcornmeal
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powderbaking-powder
1/2 teaspoon baking sodabaking-soda
2 tablespoons fresh sage (chopped) or 1 teaspoon dried sage (chopped)sage
1 cup buttermilkbuttermilk
2 tablespoons honeyhoney
2 eggsegg
3 tablespoons butter or 3 tablespoons margarine (melted)butter

Instructions (5 steps)

01Sift the first four ingredients together and then add sage.
02In another bowl beat buttermilk, honey, eggs, and the butter together.
03Add to dry ingredients and stir only enough to moisten.
04Pour batter into 9 x 9 greased pan.
05Bake at 425 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until top is golden.
