Anybody who knows me, knows that I can't bake to save my life. My gf jokes that whenever I bake biscuits then you know the NHL is short on pucks! So when I came across this little gem of a recipe she had to eat her words, literally, when they came out perfect! I found the recipe in a non-profit cookbook called "A Little Taste Of Home".

Ingredients (7)

2 cups flourflour
1 tablespoon sugarsugar
4 teaspoons baking powderbaking-powder
1 teaspoon saltsalt
1/3 cup shorteningshortening
1 cup milk, coldmilk
2/3 cup cheddar cheese, medium, gratedcheddar

Instructions (6 steps)

01Cut shortening into dry ingredients with a pastry blender.
02Add milk and cheese.
03Mix and turn out on a floured board.
04Knead 8 - 10 times.
05Cut with round cutter.
06Bake at 400 degrees F for 12 - 15 minutes.
