Soy Balsamic Slow Cooker Chicken

• 3 pounds Bone-in Chicken, Combination Of Drumsticks And Breastschicken
• 1 whole Onion, Sliced Into Ringsonion
• ¾ cups Low Sodium Soy Saucesoy-sauce
• ⅓ cups Balsamic Vinegarbalsamic-vinegar
• 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauceworcestershire
• 2 whole Bay Leavesbay-leaf
• 5 cloves Garlic, Smashedgarlic
• 2 Tablespoons Peppercorns, Crackedpeppercorn
• 1 Tablespoon Brown Sugarbrown-sugar
• 2 Tablespoons Cornstarchcornstarch
• ⅓ cups Chicken Brothchicken-broth
• Rice For Serving
• Chives For Servingchive

1. 01Place chicken and onion in slow cooker. Pour soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, bay leaves, garlic, and peppercorns into the slow cooker and stir around, coating chicken. Add brown sugar, cornstarch, and chicken broth and stir again. Cook on low for 5-6 hours. Break and shred chicken up a bit (a potato masher works really well for this), serve over rice and garnish with chives.
