1 Potato (Aloo)potato
Salt a pinchsalt
1 teaspoon Butter (Salted)butter
Black pepper powder a pinch

Instructions (10 steps)

01To begin making Buttered Mashed Potatoes, pick fresh potatoes available (without the spuds) in the market.
02Place the potato in a pressure cooker along with a 1/2 a cup of water.
03Let out 3 whistles and turn off the flame. Release the pressure naturally, as the potatoes will continue to cook in the heat.
04Once the pressure has released, peel the skin of the potato and place it on a cutting board.
05Cut the potatoes roughly into small pieces.
06Place a pan on medium heat and melt a teaspoon of butter.
07Once the butter has melted, add the roughly chopped potatoes and stir them well with a pinch of salt and pepper. Using the back of a fork mash the potatoes.
