1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk (NOT evaporated milk, I use fat-free with good results)milk
1/3 cup peanut butter (I use smooth, but chunky is fine if you prefer)peanut
1/3 cup chopped peanuts (optional)peanut
1 teaspoon vanilla extractvanilla-extract
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)cinnamon

Instructions (4 steps)

01Combine sweetened condensed milk and peanut butter in a heavy saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring often, until thickened.
02Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla and optional peanuts and cinnamon (if using).
03Refrigerate leftovers.
04May be used as a dip for sliced apples, too.
