3/4 cup creamy peanut butterbutter
1/2 cup butter flavor shorteningshortening
1 1/4 cups packed brown sugarbrown-sugar
1 large eggegg
3 tablespoons half-and-half or 3 tablespoons milkmilk
1 tablespoon vanillavanilla
1 3/4 cups flourflour
3/4 teaspoon baking sodabaking-soda
3/4 teaspoon saltsalt
1/2 cup peanut butter chipspeanut-butter-chips
1/2 cup chocolate chipschocolate-chips

Instructions (9 steps)

01Set oven to 350°.
02In a mixing bowl, cream peanut butter, shortening and brown sugar.
03Add egg; mix well.
04Stir in milk and vanilla.

Combine flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to the creamed mixture.

06Stir in the chips.

07Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.

08Bake for 7-9 minutes or until golden brown.

09Note: if you prefer larger cookies, just use a tablespoonful of batter, and bake a little longer.
