5-6 cups yellow honeysuckle flowers
5 cups waterwater
1 1/2 cups granulated sugarsugar

Instructions (7 steps)

01Remove all the green bulb pieces at the bottom of the flower and any leaves.
02Boil 5 cups of water on the stove. As soon as the water boils, turn off the heat and dump the flowers into the water.
03Put a lid on the pot and allow to steep for at least 1 hour
04Strain the water into jars or pitchers to remove all of the petals and debris.
05In a small pot on the stove, heat 1 1/2 cups honeysuckle infused water mixture and the granulated sugar on the stove until all of the sugar dissolves completely.
06Remove from heat and allow to cool to room temperature - about 45 minutes.
07Pour into a glass jar or container and store in the refrigerator for up to four months to add to a myriad of recipes!
