1 lb pork sausage, the bulk type spicysausage
1 lb lean ground beefground-beef
1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoestomato
1 cup chopped oniononion
1 cup chopped green pepperbell-pepper
1 cup sliced celerycelery
2 -4 minced garlic clovesgarlic
2 teaspoons saltsalt
4 teaspoons chili powderchili-powder
1 tablespoon crushed red pepper flakesred-pepper-flakes
6 ounces tomato pastetomato-paste
1 (15 ounce) can crushed tomatoestomato

Instructions (6 steps)

01Cook the ground beef and sausage.
02Drain off fat.
03When fully cooked, transfer to crock pot.
04Stir in remaining ingredients.

05Cover and cook on low setting for 8-10hrs.

06Top with grated cheese and sour cream.
